3 Ways to rename a file in windows

Hey guys,In this post i will show you how to rename a windows files or folders in 3 ways

Way 1: Right Clicking & Rename

  1. Right-click the file that you want to rename, and then click Rename.
  2. Type the new name, and then press Enter.
Way 2: By pressing F2

  1. Left-click the file that you want to rename, and then press F2.
  2. Type the new name, and then press Enter

Way 3: By Left clicking on the name after selecting it

  1. Left-click the file that you want to rename, then click on the name.
  2. Type the new name, and then press Enter

Note: 
   1. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
   2. If you can't rename a file, you might not have permission to change it.

Tip:  You can also rename several files at one time, which is useful for grouping related items. To do this, select the files, and then follow the steps above. Type one name, and then each of the files will be saved with the new name and a different sequential number at the end (for example, Renamed File (2), Renamed File (3), and so on).
